經過一年半載的測試與開發，Adium 1.0 提供了 600 個以上的改善，您可以發現新版的 Adium 1.0 使用新的預設外觀、安裝設定輔助程式、改良了帳號管理方式、隱私資料管理...等等。除此之外，還可直接顯示 iTunes 現正播放的曲目資訊，聊天記錄的檢視工具也增強了搜尋功能...也讓您更輕鬆地管理 Xtras 外掛模組，當然還有全中文的使用者界面 ;-)
如果您使用的是 AIM 的帳號，Adium 1.0 現在也改進了檔案傳輸，直接連線進行影像傳輸；Yahoo 帳號可顯示為隱形狀態；MSN 傳訊的使用者可接收使用者自定的表情符號；支援 Google Talk 好友圖像與輸入指示。
