这项政策从2008年1月1日起开始执行。


The thin-film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) for notebook computers contains many TFTs. The presence of a small number of missing, discolored, or lit all the time dots or pixels is characteristic of TFT LCD technology due to manufacturing process for such technology irrespective of manufacturer.
If your LCD has 2 or less visible defective pixels, it should not be considered faulty. However, if your LCD has 3 or more visible defective pixels, it will be deemed as defective by Lenovo and is replaceable upon request, if within the warranty period.

Affected configurations

This policy applies for all ThinkPad computers purchased starting Jan 1, 2008. Pixel defect policy in effect prior to May 2008, will continue to apply for systems purchased earlier than Jan 1, 2008. Please contact your Lenovo Service representative for further assistance.

当然是你理解错了，追溯到2008的1月1日，政策出台是是5月份。联想以前没有正式的政策公布，有的只是内部政策。
